First, the public sector: The White House fact sheet reports that federal agencies have purchased 13,000 light and medium-duty electric cars in fiscal year 2023, four times more than in 2022. From 2027, US authorities can only buy zero-emission passenger and light commercial vehicles. This applies to all new vehicles, including medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, from 2035.

Prologis claims “more than 3,400 properties” in the US.

Siemens promises to provide charging stations at all US facilities and staff residences to convert 10,000 vehicles to electric by 2030. All new company construction projects shall provide 10% charging station parking spots.
Hertz plans to hire roughly two million electric vehicles in 2023
Hertz plans to hire roughly two million electric vehicles in 2023, five times more than in 2022. To popularize electric transportation, other parties have pledged education, marketing, and certification programs. The Charge@Work campaign and Electric Vehicle Adoption Leadership (EVAL) certification program will commence in 2023 “to create more than 100,000 charging stations in the workplace”.
